which are described in the "Hobbies I love and do" section.

Hobbies I love and do
Computers and similar gadgets, music enthusiast, reader, passionate photographer (now in the past) and FOSS supporter.
More about my passion for technology and software
In the IT world I want to be, let's say, a generalist. But what I enjoy most is application software development and occasionally something more low-level.
I could also get into game development a bit and tinker with hardware (like PCs, smartphones, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
I plan to occasionally contribute to various open-source projects, and maybe even create full-blown forks — we'll see how it goes.
What and who do you listen to?
Honestly, I'm a real music junkie. I listen to a ton of stuff,
depending on my mood. Way back (in the early 2020s)
I was genuinely into dubstep. These days I listen to old tracks, foreign music,
Ukrainian stuff, rock (mostly heavy, like AC/DC), Super Eurobeat, Eurodance
and a lot more (I don't listen to Russian songs). I mostly listen through YouTube
(not YouTube Music, but the YouTube app itself — other services just don't do it for me) or offline.
My offline library is huge, and I've made sure that every file, where possible, has album art and filled-in tags.
A bit about photography
I was genuinely into photography from 2023 to 2025, but now I've dropped it.
I mostly shot nature, sometimes buildings, streets and my everyday life,
but I almost never photographed people. I usually shoot on old smartphones and cameras
(mostly on the two cameras listed below, on old smartphones — less often).
The background photo was taken on the fly on a Sony Cybershot DSC-T50 in the summer of 2024,
but to me it turned out a real masterpiece that for some reason
just got stuck in my head, even though there are other decent shots too.
My cameras:
Canon EOS 30D (Very good condition)
Sony Cybershot DSC-T50 (Red color, very good condition, rare camera)
Nikon Coolpix S2700 (Black color, very good condition)
What do you read?
Lately I don't read much — mostly because of a lack of time or just laziness.
I like science fiction and fantasy, dystopias and such, but from time to time I also pick up technical or educational literature.
Projects
Right now my only large-scale project on the internet is my
home server with the domain
gavladorias.win
(you can find out more about the server by clicking the link).
My PC (Got it as a gift for New Year 2022):
OS:Artix Linux (I also have Windows 10 installed as a backup system.)
Terminal emulator:Foot and Kitty (Previously st instead of foot)
Browser:Zen Browser
Motherboard:MSI H510M-A-PRO
CPU:Intel Core i3-10100 4.30 GHz
GPU (Integrated):Intel UHD Graphics 630
GPU (Discrete, main):AMD Radeon RX 570 4 GiB (Vendor - Asus, I bought it in autumn 2025.)
RAM:16 GiB, DDR4
My retro tech
I don't have a huge retro collection,
but some of it is quite rare and in good condition (which I'm a little proud of).
Apple iPad 1 3G 32 GiB (A bit beaten up, there's a scratch on the screen.
Battery and everything else in very good condition.)
Apple iPad 3 ? GiB (I think it had 64GB, it was locked and I couldn't unlock it — so I took it apart and gave the parts to someone.)
Apple iPod Classic 120 GiB (6th generation, battery is nearly dead, but everything else is in perfect condition)
Music Player "MSI Mega 536" (Yes, the company now known for its computer hardware
made music players back in the 2000s. This is a very rare thing in good condition. It had a touchpad,
a screen, a 4 GiB hard drive (yes, just like Apple) and a separate microphone jack.
Detailed info can be found online.)
Apple iPhone 4S 16 or 8 GiB (I bought it for peanuts online, it's pretty beaten up. The back cover on it isn't original.)
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 16 GiB (Screen is slightly scratched and has minor burn-in.
Stylus and original back cover are missing.)
Nokia 2700 Classic (Just a regular button phone, bought online. It's a bit beaten up, and the back cover keeps falling off, so it's held on with tape.)
My OLD PC (I had it until 2022, it was built in 2007.):
OS:Windows XP (Previously had Windows 7 for a long time)
Browser:Old Firefox and Supermium
Motherboard:ASUS P5G-MX
CPU:Intel Pentium Dual E2160 1.80 GHz
GPU (Discrete, main):ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO 256 MiB (Vendor - Asus)
RAM:1 GiB, DDR2
Modern tech
I don't have a lot of modern tech, but I do have some.
Poco F6 12/512 (My main phone, which I was given as a birthday gift at the end of April 2025. It's a good device.)
Xiaomi Redmi 12S 8/256 (My mom's phone, now I have it as a spare since she has a different one now)
The rest of my tech I gave away to family and other people.
